"Teaching is a great way to learn, I love to learn.."

Hello,

I am forever a student because I am endlessly curious. I have always used art to make sense of the world as I learn, finding ways to connect, discovering how the world inside and outside works. My interests include: astronomy, cognition, anatomy, and--- the list is endless...

In regards to astronomy, I believe that if we were to see for ourselves, the beauty in the night sky again, we would understand and appreciate how valuable it is to be here on Earth and even dare to reach new horizons.

Currently, I am a neuroscience undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, minoring in life science visualization.

Hello,

I have always loved teaching and learning from artists of all ages and skill levels. I love to create in group settings and do my best to make spaces where others feel comfortable letting their creative side out.

My artistic practice focuses on the human condition and interactions between ourselves and our world. I often use people close to me as my subjects and aim to honor them and their image in my work.

I am currently a member of the Parlour and Ramp gallery team in Pilsen, Chicago and work as an oil painter and wood worker.
